Not to be confused with the Taurus Judge.
The Taurus Model 66 is a secondary revolver in Those Who Remain. It is purchasable for $55,000 at level 32, alongside the M16A1 and M4A1.
Overview[]
The Taurus Model 66 sports moderate damage, which can be utilized for slaying relatively weak targets like the Civilian with one or two headshots during early waves. Despite this, the Taurus Model 66 has a number of drawbacks. This includes its poor bullet penetration, ammunition capacity, and firerate, rendering it ineffective against large hordes of infected at later waves.
Strategy[]
- Aiming for the head is highly recommended for eliminating infected quickly.
- Due to the Taurus Model 66's limited ammo capacity, always make sure to refill from ammo boxes frequently after use.
- The Taurus Model 66's low ammo capacity and bullet penetration may likely not be sufficient against large hordes of infected. It is advised to target smaller hordes or singular targets instead.
- As the Taurus Model 66's damage is low, equip Heavy Hitter to significantly increase the its damage potential.
Trivia[]
- The Taurus Model 66 shares its equip and reload sounds with the Taurus Judge and Colt Python.
